Lea Barbato-GaydosLea Barbato-Gaydos is an artist, teacher and author. She is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the Beth-El College of Nursing at the University of Colorado. In 1999, Lea was named the National Holistic Nurse of the Year, and in the same year received the Nightingale Award for developing complementary pathways to new paradigms in nursing. She currently maintains a private practice in holistic nursing, which includes art as healing therapy in the form of biographical icons. Lea has developed and published on biographical icons as a complementary healing art modality.
